Lampang or Khelang Nakorn of the past has the horse carriage as its symbol having monasteries built in Burmese and Lanna Thai style architectures and its famous place, well know all over the world, is the Thai Elephant Conservation Center.

By Car
From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and Highway No. 32 to Nakhon Sawan via Sing Buri, Chai Nat, then turn into Highway No. 1 again to go to Lampang via Kamphaeng Phet and Tak, a total distance of 599 kilometres.
By Bus
